The Next Big Give

Dallas Market Center is looking for retailers that give back in their communities. Whether spending time serving at a local food bank, holding a fundraising event to benefit a worthy cause or collecting goods for an organization in need – The Next Big Give seeks retailers who make a difference.

Retailers can either nominate themselves or be nominated by their customers, business contacts, friends and family. Ten finalists were announced January 8, 2013 and two winners, Journeys of Life and Leon & Lulu were announced on February 14, 2013. The winners received a complimentary trip to Dallas, Texas to attend Market (March 21-24, 2013) at the world’s most complete wholesale marketplace. In addition to airfare from anywhere in the continental U.S., the winners received two nights hotel stay.
 
The Next Big Give winners were honored at Market during The Inspired Event, a cocktail party benefiting a charitable cause. Also, they shared their stories of giving back in hopes to inspire other retailers to do the same.
 
The contest will reopen for nominations in August 2014 to any specialty retailer operating their store in the continental U.S. Now, get out there and give back! We promise to do the same.
