DALLAS – Nov. 2, 2017 – Dallas Market Center today announced the details of Made, a new category in The Temps at Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, January 17-23, 2018. With the growing desire of customers to purchase artisan-style products, retailers are on the hunt for items that they won’t find everywhere else. In an effort to provide these unique products with interesting stories, Dallas Market Center expanded the offerings of one-of-a-kind products and created a Made category in the gift temps on the 12th floor of the World Trade Center.

This expanding category encompasses all kinds of products made in a unique way including handmade, locally made, globally made, American made, uniquely made, and one-of-a-kind making it a destination on campus with premier product.

“This expanded product selection will create a whole new type of buying experience for our eager buyers,” said Kristina Johnson, vice president of trade shows for Dallas Market Center. “The organization and central location of this category will provide a new sense of ease for our buyers when they are looking to source these types of products.”

The Made category on WTC 12 is located next to the new seminar space where presentations, speakers, and events occur regularly during Market creating an enhanced experience for exhibitors and buyers alike. In addition, the exhibitors within this category are located near the popular food options on the 12th floor creating additional ease in sourcing this category.

“We continue to see a strong demand for one-of-a-kind items,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Our Temps are a highly anticipated part of Market, and we are adding even more value for our retailers to discover additional products their customers will love.”
