We service 16 states in the Mid-South and Southeast, and have showrooms in the World Trade Center and America’s Mart. We are one of the busiest showrooms in Dallas. We are looking for a recent college graduate who is interested in the fashion industry. We are looking for a super multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. The candidate must have great energy and want to work in a Fun environment. The Office/Sales Assistant is a salaried position that supports members of Management and the Sales team. The Office/Sales Assistant will be handling incoming phone calls, greeting clients/visitors, as well as managing files, updating records and other documents, invoicing shipments, providing sales assistance during market and trade shows, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands. The candidate must be aware of fashion trends.

The Office/Sales Assistant should be professional, polite, well spoken, attentive to details, and driven to succeed. They should always be prepared and willing to meet each challenge as it arises. They should also be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel in both verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities: To assist members of Management in all phases of their responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
*Handling incoming calls
*Managing filing system
*Recording information as needed
*Greeting clients/visitors
*Updating paperwork and maintaining documents
*Data entry for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
*Performing general administrative support
*Coordinating events as necessary
*Providing scheduling support by booking appointment
*Helping prepare for meetings
*Providing sales assistance during market and trade shows
*Supportive fellow team members as needed

Job Qualifications
*Associates degree, or equivalent experience in retail or wholesale fashion
*Basic Accounting knowledge is a plus
*Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
*Self-starter and independent thinker
*Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
*Strong interpersonal skills enabling ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers
*Ability to multi-task and react with flexibility, switch from one project to another without getting flustered
*Strong organizational skills with a focus on follow through
*Ability to adapt to a changing environment; comfortable with change
*Proficient in all Microsoft office programs, especially Excel and experience with Google Docs a plus
*Comfortable with using the Ten Key
*Travel required (up to 25% of the time)
*Make thoughtful, smart decisions, even on the fly, with Remedy values at top of mind to ensure customer satisfaction and manufacturer confidence
*Work with a sense of purpose and urgency
