2019 Light Stars Announced

—Program honors dozens of top salespeople from lighting retailers across North America—

DALLAS – May 29, 2019 – Dallas Market Center has announced the 2019 Light Stars honorees, representing top salespeople from the leading lighting retailers across North America. A total of 40 participants from 18 states and four Canadian provinces will attend the June 19-22 edition of Lightovation – Dallas International Lighting show as part of the Light Stars program.

Light Stars are top retail salespeople who have never attended Lightovation, but would greatly benefit from the experience. Honorees accepted into the Light Stars program receive airfare and two nights of hotel accommodations during the show. Hundreds of nominations were received this year through March 30.

In addition to travel and hotel arrangements, Light Stars are granted access to all Lightovation educational seminars, exhibits and events, including the Showroom of the Year Awards and Lighting After Dark party at the Hilton Anatole Hotel, as well as CLC®-accredited sessions during market in The SMART Center. Educational programming at this edition of Lightovation includes keynotes from customer experience expert David Avrin and social media guru Leslie Carothers.

“Working with exhibitors we are pleased to support top retailers with this unique program honoring great sales people,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “We welcome this class of Light Stars to Dallas and proudly present the opportunity to review products and trends and deepen their knowledge and relationships.”
