Carson Kressley to Headline Dallas Design Week: Design Intelligence

Emmy-winning style expert to star in the design event of the season

DALLAS – March 12, 2019 – Dallas Market Center, the largest open-daily design center in the country, announces the spring edition of Dallas Design Week, April 15 – 18, 2019. Last fall’s successful event welcomed more than 1,000 members of the design community while showcasing national celebrities and industry experts – and this spring is set to steal the spotlight.

In partnership with Feizy, Dallas Market Center is honored to announce a special appearance by Emmy-winning television personality, style expert and New York Times best-selling author Carson Kressley. The star of the groundbreaking series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and Bravo’s new hit Get a Room with Carson & Thom, highlights a week of design-focused appearances, education and events.

From the latest product launches to designing for wellness to earning those all-important CEUs, the Dallas Design Week line-up is filled with can’t-miss events. Highlights include Dine + Design on Tuesday, April 16, featuring industry experts Gary Inman and Donna Vining on the topic of Creating Beautiful Designs While Crafting a Successful Business. Later that day, Carson Kressley steps into the spotlight before hosting an exclusive meet-and-greet with guests.

The week continues with Design’s Influence on Health & Pleasure on Wednesday, April 17, hosted by Mike Peterson, former publisher of Country Living and LUXE Interiors + Design magazines. Taste of Lightovation then brings designers a special opportunity to experience the largest residential lighting marketplace in North America. The day concludes with a special appearance from superstar designer, Dann Foley, in partnership with Cambria Stone. Thursday serves up more star power with award-winner Denise McGaha, plus photography insights from leading design photographer, Stephen Karlisch.
