Dallas Market Center Announces New Chair and Members for Lighting Board of Governors

DALLAS – February 6, 2024 – Dallas Market Center, the home of Lightovation, the largest residential lighting trade event in North America, has announced the election results and appointments for the Lighting Board of Governors, including a new Chair and new members. The Board serves to advise Dallas Market Center and represent the views of the Lightovation exhibitors, promote the growth of the lighting industry, and supervise programs for lighting trade events at Dallas Market Center.

The new Board Chair is Maria Mullen, CEO of Hubbardton Forge, who will serve as Chair through January 2026 before becoming Past Chair through January 2028. Outgoing Chair Troy Lee, president of Savoy House, will serve as Past Chair through January 2026.

New Board members whose terms commence February 2024 through January 2028 are:

  • Ron Henderson, President and CEO of Varaluz
  • Rene Quintana, President and COO of Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting
  • Paul Sidhu, Marketing Director of Kuzco Lighting, Alora, and Auroralight
  • Tony Zitoli, President of Lib & Co.

Additionally, previous Past Chair Nathan Frampton, President and CEO of Fanimation, was elected to serve an additional four-year term through January 2028.

Continuing their terms on the Board are, Tony Davidson, President of Eurofase; Tim Flannery, President of Minka Group; Brad Kleinberg, President of Crystorama; Jose Lopez, President of Quorum International, Oxygen and Cyan Design; Naomi Sperling, COO of Maxim Group Companies; Chris Titizian, President of Avenue Lighting; Colleen Visage, Vice President of Product Management for Progress Lighting; and Todd Webb, CEO of Elk Home.

Board members who concluded their terms after January 2024 include Hudson Valley Lighting Group president Malaina Matheus; Quoizel President and CEO Rick Seidman; Sonneman – A Way of Light Vice President of Sales Matt Sonneman; and Hinkley President Jess Wiedemer.

The Lighting Board of Governors can have up to 15 members at one time, with five members elected by the current Board, five members elected by the Lightovation exhibitor base, and five members appointed by Dallas Market Center. Nominations for exhibitor and Board election candidates are accepted in the fall each year from Lightovation exhibitors. The Lighting Board of Governors meets four times each year.
