DALLAS – June 25, 2019 – Dallas Market Center, the only lifestyle marketplace in North America and home to comprehensive trade events for the business of fashion, has announced updated dates for its Apparel & Accessories Markets. Beginning in October 2019 the new dates will reflect a Tuesday to Friday market pattern. The new dates are as follows:

October 22-25, 2019: Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market

January 14-18, 2020: Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market

March 24-27, 2020: Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market + Dallas Western Market

June 23-26, 2020: Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market

“Beginning the show on Tuesday allows us to fully support all buyers as they arrive,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “These new dates reflect what is already the pattern for the show—buyers arriving earlier and departing ahead of the weekend. In formal surveys and conversations we have continued to hear requests from retailers to open on Tuesday so we will fulfill that need beginning in October. This decision is driven by retailer requests but it’s also an opportunity to maximize the energy and inspiration in a Dallas show that continues to draw more new buyers.”

Dallas Market Center previously announced that beginning in June 2020, a Total Lifestyle Market will take place across all product categories. This annual, summer-only trade event will unify for the first time all major markets and will create the largest lifestyle market event in North America. Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market will join Total Home & Gift Market, Lightovation, and KidsWorld in a single event.

Note that in January 2020 the show will begin on Tuesday but will run through Saturday to accommodate temporary exhibits beginning on Wednesday.

The most recent apparel and accessories trade events in Dallas have attracted more buyers attending for the first time and more buyers from retail businesses such as gift stores, souvenir shops, florists, and garden centers seeking apparel and fashion accessories. The fashion showrooms and temporary exhibits in Dallas span one million square feet and include leading manufacturers and multi-line showrooms for a wide range of categories of apparel and accessories. The marketplace hosts five major markets per year featuring the latest styles from East Coast and West Coast companies and designers. Retailers from across North America and Latin America visit the Apparel & Accessories Markets in Dallas in order to discover new products and trends, build relationships, and place orders for the upcoming selling season. The marketplace is located in the strongest economic region in the United States and serves many of the largest and most successful independent retailers as well as department stores and e-commerce.

In addition to apparel and accessories, only Dallas Market Center presents the most complete collection of new and best-selling products across multiple categories including gift, home décor, lighting, holiday and floral, housewares, gourmet, and artisan products.
