Last Minute Fall Buying Opportunities at Dallas Market Center

– Upcoming September Total Home & Gift Market and                                        Mini-Markets Draw Buyers –

DALLAS – September 1, 2011 – Dallas Market Center, the world’s most complete wholesale marketplace, today announced that the September Total Home & Gift Market (September 10-12) will offer attendees the opportunity to buy last minute fall and winter merchandise, as well as a head start on products for the coming spring retail season. Available products range from home accessories, furniture, holiday and seasonal items to gourmet food, floral, stationery, toys, jewelry and fashion accessories. This Market will be held in conjunction with the FINDS Dallas Temp Show (September 10-12) and the Dallas Bridal Market (September 11-13). The FINDS Dallas Temp Show will include Gift and Home (World Trade Center 6th floor) and Cash & Carry (World Trade Center 12th floor).

During the Total Home & Gift Market, the Holiday & Decorative Association (HDA) will hold a special cash giveaway on Saturday, September 10. Buyers who bring a purchase order from a list of participating exhibitors to the HDA desk in the lobby of the International Trade Plaza between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. will be entered into a drawing for two $250 cash prizes. The list of participating showrooms can be found at the HDA desk. The winner will be chosen at 4 p.m.

Another exciting event taking place is a Discovery Tour: “Attractive Bridal Gifts for Add-On Sales” led by retail expert Rawlins Gilliland on Sunday, September 11 at 2 p.m. Those interested in attending should meet at the front escalators of the Trade Mart 1st floor.

In addition to September Market, First Monday & Tuesday Mini-Markets being held October 3-4, November 7-8 and December 5-6 are available for buyers to fill in gaps in inventory and stock up for the holiday season. More than 70 percent of the gift and home décor showrooms participate in the First Monday & Tuesday program.
