Nominations Open for 29th Annual ARTS Awards

DALLAS – April 3, 2017 – Dallas Market Center and ART, the creative home furnishings network, today announced that nominations are officially open for the 29th Annual ARTS Awards.

The ARTS Awards, presented each January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, is the premier international awards program dedicated to home industry excellence and achievement in retailing, manufacturing, design, and sales representation. Prominent members of the international home industry gather in Dallas each year to celebrate the crème de la crème of leaders and innovators in the industry.

“The ARTS Awards is the only awards program that honors all segments of home décor and is managed by the industry, for the industry,” says Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “We encourage nominations across all categories in order to create a strong list of finalists.”

The ARTS Awards honors home industry leaders and professionals, beginning with the nomination of retailers, manufacturers, designers, and sales representatives. Nominations are received online at dallasmarketcenter.com/artsawards now through June 28, 2017.

After nominations are received, a nomination committee of industry peers evaluates the entries and determines finalists. A separate judging panel then convenes in Dallas in the fall to review and score finalists’ materials.

Winners will be announced during a gala event on Friday, January 19, 2018. Neither membership in ART nor representation at Dallas Market Center is necessary to nominate or to be a nominee.
