Why can I not connect to DMC’s free Buyer Wi-Fi in my showroom?

DMC’s free Buyer Wi-Fi is set up to be an amenity for buyers at markets.  It has been configured to not interfere with exhibitor’s Wi-Fi networks inside of their showrooms.  While some exhibitors may be able to connect to DMC’s free Buyer Wi-Fi inside their showrooms, it should not be relied upon for business purposes.  Uncontrollable factors, such as the density of people gathered in any given area, can affect the reliability of obtaining a connection.  Exhibitors whose business depends on a constant internet or Wi-Fi connection should contract with the vendor of their choosing to install connectivity inside their showroom.

Why do I lose my connection to DMC’s free Buyer Wi-Fi when I go inside of a showroom?

DMC’s free Buyer Wi-Fi has been configured to not interfere with exhibitor’s Wi-Fi networks inside of their showrooms.  As such, when you move from a coverage area to inside of a showroom, your connection to DMC’s free Wi-Fi may be dropped.  It will reestablish automatically once you move to a coverage area.

What is the coverage area for DMC’s free Buyer Wi-Fi?

DMC’s free Buyer Wi-Fi is available in any common area within our complex.  This includes all hallways and atriums.

Why can I sometimes not connect to DMC’s free Buyer Wi-Fi when I’m in a coverage area?

Wi-Fi networks have upper limits on the number of concurrent connections they can support.  If you are in an area where a dense crowd of people are present, it’s possible that you may not be able to establish a connection.  When you move away from that area or the crowd disperses, your connection should reestablish automatically.
