 Largest Spring Market in the U.S. Offers Once-A-Year Lifestyle Selection Across Marketplace

—Three markets in one brings retailers more inspiration and discoveries in fashion, gift, home, and kids—

DALLAS – March 1, 2022 – Following the best-attended winter markets in more than a decade, Dallas Market Center announces details for its upcoming March market, March 22-25, which includes Apparel & Accessories Market, Total Home & Gift Market, and KidsWorld.

March market in Dallas will be the largest Spring wholesale event in the U.S. and will include an expanded selection of temporary exhibits on three floors in addition to new showrooms and collections in permanent showrooms. The Spring show is the once-a-year buying event combining multiple shows across the entire 5 million square foot marketplace allowing buyers to efficiently source apparel, fashion accessories, gift, home décor, and kids products in a single location.

“Only in Dallas will retailers discover a complete selection of products including on-trend collections, stylish new products, one-of-a-kind pieces, and immediate delivery items,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “In addition to our new showrooms, we’ve expanded our temps marketplace to accommodate the number of brands eager to reach the growing number of Dallas buyers visiting from coast to coast.”

Apparel and Accessories Brands Added to Marketplace

New for March are permanent showrooms Amanda James Design (15149), Bella Bliss (8644), Brayden & Brooks (2442), Double A Sales (7602), and Theia Jewelry (13246). Expanded showrooms include Al Zuni Global Jewelry (7686) and Lace Collective (15654).

Temps Space Expanded

On the 11th floor, exhibits will take place in recently expanded space. Immediate Goods on 11 is the section of curated fashion brands available for purchase at the show which includes My Drink Bomb, Beaded Blondes, Summer Weatherly, Kiara Purse, Sash Bag, and Jennifer Thames Originals. On the 12th floor, the temporary tradeshow space is once again sold out with hundreds of brands. On the 13th floor, featured brands for March include 8th Story, Carolina Strung, Cordani, Jayley Collection, Lines of Denmark, and Pretty Rugged.

KidsWorld Highlights

Additions to The Studio at KidsWorld (WTC 8701) include Mon Coeur, Nanducket, Yourself Expression, JBE Apparel, and Rosewood The Label. In addition, Under Armour Kids will show in temporary showroom space in WTC 8216.

Gift, Home Resources

New additions include The Container Store Custom Closets and Peter Keil art, arriving to an expanded The Gallery (IHDC 1D202). Allaf Rugs is relocating to WTC 521-C and 550. In Gourmet Market, new exhibitors include Olivelle 180-E30, From Itzie’s Garden 180-E5, Trucker Treats 180-A30, Fig Brew 180-B42, and Papaya Coffee Roasters 180-C14.

Recent additions across the gift and home marketplace are Crestview Home (WTC 333); Elite Accessories Ltd. (TM 1448); The French Bee (TM 1725); Hester & Cook (TM 2503); Kendrick HOME (WTC 320); Modern Burlap (TM 1335); Novart (WTC 6650); Young’s Inc. (TM 1034); Daria Rugs and Antiques (WTC 6694); and Pacific Trading (TM 2218).

Recent debuts inside showrooms: NextGen Dallas (TM 1028 and 1030) expanded and welcomed Enesco back to campus. Ivystone (WTC 236) had four lines recently expand—Beatriz Ball, Consuela, Napa Home & Garden, and Karma/Stephen Joseph. Cathy & Co (TM 1600) expanded and added Adams Apple Co., Wabi Whiffs, and Christina’s Clean Creations. Inside The 2301 Collection, Bonnecaze Absinthe & Home (WTC 2301-13), Heritage Lace (WTC 2301-35) and Serene House USA (TM 2301-21) debuted. Global Views (IHDC 1D209) recently presented a new collection from Roger Thomas. Stylecraft (WTC 10074) has debuted a substantial home furnishings collection from Dann Foley Lifestyle. Taylors – Visual Comfort & Tech Lighting (IHDC 1D111) welcomed new collections from Hable, Avroko, Kelly Wearstler, Mick De Giulio, Sean Lavin and Paloma Contreras.

New Buyer Applications Continue to Soar

In addition to new exhibitors, the number of new buyers continues to set records. New buyer applications remain 50% ahead of 2019, reflecting both the marketplace’s position as a center of inspiration and its momentum as a national marketplace attracting buyers from coast to coast. For March Market, independent retailers from across the country will be joined by multi-location retail, buying groups, and major stores eager to travel to a single location to fulfil their buying needs across lifestyle categories.

The Boutique Summit 2022

The Boutique Hub, the world’s largest boutique industry community, is hosting their Boutique Summit March 20-21 at Dallas Market Center. Pre-registration includes access to a wide array of seminars and sessions focused on dreaming big and providing the business tools and networking for boutiques, brands and services. All buyers are invited to hear Boutique Hub founder Ashley Alderson speak on Tuesday, March 22 at 11 a.m. at the World Trade Center atrium stage.

The Crystal Ball Fashion Show Tops Market Events

Inspiring displays and events will provide trend direction and networking for buyers. On Tuesday evening, a fashion show and party will take place with the theme The Crystal Ball. The show will feature looks from throughout the marketplace. On Wednesday and Thursday on the 14th floor, fashion shows at noon will highlight the on-trend looks available from adjacent showrooms. Daily coffee with live music will be available, and for new buyers, a market orientation called DMC Buyer Scoop will take place every morning of the show at 9 a.m. in the 1st floor atrium.
