DALLAS – May 9, 2022 – Dallas Market Center, home of the largest residential lighting marketplace in North America, has announced that Minka Group has deepened its commitment by signing a long-term lease renewal. The company recently opened a large new showroom in Trade Mart 4103 featuring all of its brands together in one location.

“We are firmly and deeply committed to Dallas as our sole showroom for key reasons,” said Tim Flannery, Executive Vice President of Sales, Minka Group. “From one central location we can serve existing customers with the comprehensive Minka experience including products, inspiration, and education. We can also expand our reach to new customers in Dallas like no other marketplace. We all want to create more business and support customers but for our company when you carefully study the alternatives in Las Vegas and High Point there is just no comparison. Finally, we also value the partnership with the DMC team; we look forward to working together for many years to come.”

All Minka Group brands will remain together in a single showroom allowing for continuity across all collections and the efficiency of working with staff and enjoying hospitality in one destination.

According to Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center, “Minka is one of the top lighting brands in the world, and their flagship showroom in Dallas is a business hub to serve buyers during Lightovation and year-round. Minka’s expansion in 2020 was forward-thinking, and their new commitment to the marketplace not only makes good business sense but it also serves the retail and design community eager for products of high quality and style. We are thrilled to continue our partnership.”

Minka joins many companies that have recently deepened their commitment to Dallas Market Center via long-term renewals, expansions, or new leases. The next edition of Lightovation takes place June 22-25; the new dates for the winter 2023 edition of Lightovation are January 10-13.
