Overview
As our Bedding Designer, you’ll build cohesive bedding collections—curating and adapting vendor artwork, specifying constructions and trims, and driving products from concept through commercialization. This is a line‑building role (not a pure surface design role): you’ll spend most of your time editing vendor prints, developing color stories, making construction choices, and preparing tight tech packs that keep development on track.
Description
- Architect seasonal assortments/line plans for quilts, comforters/duvets, sheeting, decorative pillows, and throws across our brands.
- Curate/adapt vendor artwork (color indexing, repeats, overprints) and build colorways to hit line plan goals.
- Specify constructions and details—quilting layouts, stitch densities, piecing, embroidery, trims, labels, and packaging.
- Build and maintain tech packs & BOMs; track samples, strike‑offs, lab dips, and approvals with domestic/overseas partners.
- Partner with Sourcing on costing & value‑engineering (materials, finishes, fill weights) to meet target margins.
- Translate trend & competitive insights into clear concept boards, color palettes, and fabric stories.
- Support showroom and web merchandising to ensure presentation aligns with design intent.
