Overview
At HiEnd Accents, inventory is the backbone of our business. As our Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll ensure that our products are in the right place at the right time—from forecasting demand and planning purchase orders to coordinating container shipments across the globe. You’ll be the bridge between our Dallas headquarters and our international sourcing office, partnering with vendors to uphold our standards of quality, timeliness, and accuracy. This role is ideal for someone who loves solving puzzles with data, thrives on details, and wants their work to have a direct impact on our customers’ experience.
Description
- Analyze sales history, demand trends, and forecasts to generate timely purchase orders and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Partner with our China Office to place purchase orders and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Develop and maintain a vendor guide outlining requirements and expectations; manage chargebacks for vendor non-compliance
- Keep Airtable (internal database) and SAP ERP systems up to date with purchase order and container details
- Coordinate logistics for container shipments to our Dallas warehouse, ensuring on-time arrivals
- Provide clear, timely communication to internal teams and customers on inventory levels, backorder ETAs, and shipment schedules
- Identify and execute initiatives to reduce slow-moving inventory and improve inventory turns
- Support the development and enforcement of inventory policies, procedures, and best practices
- Prepare and present inventory reports and dashboards for leadership review
- Run allocation and fulfillment reports to support backorder management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, forecasting, or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including inventory planning and warehouse management
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred, Netsuite or similar acceptable)
- Advanced Excel skills and high comfort with data analysis
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work directly with the CEO and cross-functional partners
- Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at managing multiple priorities
- Naturally analytical, data-driven, and business-minded
- Team-oriented, with the ability to build positive relationships with both vendors and colleagues
- Mandarin Chinese fluency a plus (for collaboration with China Office), but not required
