Position Overview
As a Brand Manager + Road Representative, you will be responsible for growing sales for your assigned brands through a combination of showroom appointments, road travel, account management, and new business development. You'll work closely with retailers, present seasonal collections, identify growth opportunities, and represent your brands with professionalism and enthusiasm.
This position requires approximately two weeks of travel each month throughout a multi-state Southwest territory. The ideal candidate will be prepared to manage customer relationships, travel schedules, and sales opportunities independently and be ready to travel on their own within 6 months from their start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell seasonal collections to existing and prospective retail accounts
- Travel independently throughout assigned territories approximately 2 weeks per month
- Conduct in-person sales appointments and market appointments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with boutique owners and buyers
- Prospect and open new retail accounts
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow brand performance
- Follow up consistently on leads, samples, and orders
- Identify sales opportunities and take initiative to drive business growth
- Coordinate with brand partners and internal team members to ensure exceptional customer service
- Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Maintain accurate account notes, follow-up schedules, and sales records
- Represent brands professionally at trade shows, markets, and industry events
A Typical Month:
- Two weeks traveling throughout the territory meeting with retailers and presenting collections
- Two weeks working from our Design District offices supporting buyers, following up on business, prospecting new accounts, and preparing for upcoming travel
- Managing account relationships, sales reporting, outreach campaigns, and brand initiatives
- Collaborating with leadership and brand partners to identify opportunities for growth
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in fashion wholesale, retail buying, brand management, merchandising, or outside sales preferred
- Passion for fashion, trends, merchandising, and personal style
- Strong sales mindset with a competitive and goal-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel by car and air as needed
- Experience with NuORDER, JOOR, Seladex, or similar wholesale platforms is a plus
