January 10-12 expo to feature more than a dozen vetted suppliers

DALLAS – Dallas Market Center, the global B2B marketplace connecting the leading brands in lighting with top retailers and designers, announces Nearshoring America Lightovation, a showcase of selected manufacturers and suppliers from South America and Central America. The special exhibit will take place January 10-12 in Trade Mart 4909, connecting lighting brands and their representatives with vetted factories and supply chain service providers closer to the United States.

“Brands are looking for faster, more resilient sourcing options, and nearshoring within the Americas is unlocking new opportunities for speed to market and growth,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “By bringing these companies directly to Lightovation, we’re making it easier than ever to discover partners who can deliver both quality and proximity.”

Nearshoring within the Americas continues to gain momentum as companies prioritize:
  • Shorter shipping times and improved logistics
  • Increased production flexibility
  • Overlapping time zones and easier communication
  • Reduced geopolitical and transportation risk
  • Opportunities for customization and smaller production runs
South America and Central America offer a compelling mix of manufacturing strength, design talent, and capacity—making it a natural extension of the North American supply chain.

In support of the expo, a Nearshoring America INDEX has been created that includes an exclusive and vetted list of more than 300 manufacturers, sourcing agents and supply chain service providers organized by country. Finally, a Nearshoring newsletter is currently being distributed that includes background, research, commentary, and timely topics for the business of nearshoring.
