Designer’s Patio, a family-owned luxury outdoor furnishings showroom in the Dallas World Trade Center, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Sales Support Coordinator to support our team. We work with interior designers and their clients to create beautiful outdoor spaces, and this position helps ensure the details behind each order receive the same care as the design itself. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities. This role focuses on administrative support and follow-through in assisting our sales team manage client relationships and sales.
Greet clients and visitors warmly, help them feel welcome, and connect them with an available salesperson.
When a salesperson is unavailable, collect client contact information, project details, and inquiries, and relay accurate notes to the sales team for follow-up.
Answer routine phone and email inquiries and direct clients to the appropriate team member
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, reporting, and coordination of daily showroom needs.
Assist with tracking and collecting deposits, outstanding balances, and payments
Assist with other day-to-day tasks and projects as needed to support the team and showroom operations.
Help stage and refresh showroom displays, including moving and rearranging furniture and accessories with team assistance.
Keep the showroom clean, organized, and ready for clients through routine tasks such as picking up and returning samples, straightening displays, dusting, vacuuming, and tidying shared areas.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy with data entry and paperwork.
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and consistently follow through in a timely manner.
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to identify discrepancies, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate issues promptly.
A friendly, service-minded approach when working with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
Dependability, initiative, and the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Previous experience in administration, sales support, or customer service preferred.
Experience in furniture, interior design, or a trade showroom is a plus.
