Description
We’re seeking a creative bedding designer focused on print designs for our Paseo Road western brand (paseoroad.com). You’ll conceptualize, design, and develop marketable bedding collections aligned with brand vision and quality standards. Primarily freelance; full-time possible for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Create cohesive designs for bedding, pillows, throws & accessories
- Collaborate with sales, creative, and sourcing to hit quality and business goals
- Communicate with factory partners for accurate development and on-time delivery
- Build concept presentations for launches and present to leadership
- Lead innovation in print, pattern, and solid programs that support seasonal styles
- Shop markets for trend; travel to sales meetings, line reviews, and markets as needed
- Create detailed design specs; issue comments for samples, strike-offs, and bulk approvals
- Maintain and organize samples and swatches
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Textile Design or related field
- 3–5 years textile design experience, preferably bedding
- Expert Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience developing product directly with factories
- Strong understanding of PD lifecycle from concept to launch
- Technical knowledge of textiles, fabrications, weaves, printing, and manufacturing
- Able to design across aesthetics; work independently and in a fast-paced team
