Smarty Rodeo today is a company that shares our passion for rodeo and western sports by bringing products and people together for a common purpose of giving back to the way of life that has given so much to so many. The story begins with two powerhouse brands. Smarty Training—created by world champion team roper Allen Bach redefined the way ropers prepare by delivering the most anatomically accurate training dummies on the market. Heel-O-Matic built its own legacy as a trusted name in training tools, earning a devoted following among ropers across the globe. Both brands stood strong on their own, fueled by innovation and loyalty. When Smarty Training and Heel-O-Matic came together in 2022, and Smarty Supply Co. was added as the hub for products and community, Smarty Rodeo was officially born. What had been two respected brands became one united company with a broader mission: to serve rodeo athletes across every discipline while giving back to the Western way of life. Today, Smarty Rodeo’s lineup includes groundbreaking products like the Smarty Bronc and Smarty Bulldogger, bringing elite training equipment to saddle bronc riders, bareback riders, steer wrestlers, and goat tyers. Behind every product is a passionate in-house team and collaborations with more than 50 professional rodeo athletes, ensuring our equipment is designed by champions, for champions.
