ArchLIGHT Summit Announces a Move to June For Its 2027 Dates
Friday, August 21, 2026
— Overlap and co-location with Lightovation brings leading commercial and residential lighting events together for one powerful week. —
Dallas Market Center (DMC) today announced that ArchLIGHT Summit, the fast-growing event for top commercial and architectural lighting brands, industry educators, and professionals, will move from September to June beginning in 2027, taking place alongside Lightovation, the largest residential lighting trade event in North America. The change unites two of the lighting industry's most influential events into a single, unmissable week in Dallas.
The new June dates are:
June 22–23, 2027: ArchLIGHT Summit
June 23–26, 2027: Lightovation
By holding the two events together, DMC aims to create a total sourcing and education experience for the business of lighting, drawing a wider array of attendees — including designers, architects, builders, and specifiers — to Dallas in a single trip. Specification-focused lighting professionals attending ArchLIGHT Summit will also have greater opportunity to engage with the Dallas Market Center's permanent lighting showroom community during the same week.
“Lightovation’s leadership in the residential lighting market will be greatly enhanced by the presence of ArchLIGHT Summit’s robust educational platform and technology-focused commercial lighting exhibits,” said Laura Van Zeyl, vice president of marketing for Lightovation. “And there is no better opportunity for ArchLIGHT Summit attendees to source decorative lighting alongside application solutions in one convenient trip. Bringing the two events together truly represents the full spectrum of the entire North American lighting industry.”
A NEW SETUP FOR 2027 In June 2027, ArchLIGHT Summit will also move into newly redeveloped space on the 9th floor of the World Trade Center. This purpose-built tradeshow floor will offer a superior layout, scalable space, and adjacent event and meeting areas. The World Trade Center already hosts DMC's largest trade events, and the new home gives ArchLIGHT Summit dedicated, customizable space to grow its exhibits, activations, and education programming.
“We are excited to continue ArchLIGHT Summit’s growth trajectory with a fresh format that is both scalable and customizable to the needs of the event and its partners,” said ArchLIGHT Summit show director Lea Tranakos.
PARTNERSHIPS ArchLIGHT Summit has quickly become a highly respected platform for innovation, community, and education within the lighting industry, uniting a growing roster of exhibitors, agency partners, associations, and media. Among them is the DALI Alliance, the organization behind an internationally standardized protocol for digital communication between lighting-control devices, which is participating in ArchLIGHT Summit and hosting its North America summit onsite — and has already accepted an invitation to return in June 2027.
The 2027 dates and location are now available at dallasmarketcenter.com, and DMC will share additional details on ArchLIGHT Summit's expanded 9th floor space and programming in the months ahead.
ARCHLIGHT SUMMIT 2026 But first, ArchLIGHT Summit returns to Dallas Market Center September 15–16, 2026, showcasing two days of education, product discovery, and industry connection.
ArchLIGHT Summit's renowned educational programming is bookended by keynotes from urban lighting authority Leni Schwendinger and IALD past president Andrea Hartranft. CEU-accredited sessions and networking receptions — from Women in Lighting + Design (WILD)’s Welcome Party to International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD)’s Last Call Y’all closing reception, plus talks on Lighting to Support Human Health and Wellbeing and Lighting Systems for Neurodivergent Accessibility, to name just a few — are hosted on the show floor and inside Dallas Market Center’s permanent lighting showrooms. Registration is open now.
BOOK YOUR STAY FOR 2026 Dallas Market Center is offering ArchLIGHT Summit guests a discounted rate at the Renaissance Dallas, which is within walking distance of the venue, for $255/night and The Hilton Garden Inn for $155/night.
